Alexander Wang (SS10).

Ah, the great American pastime... Baseball's getting a little passé'. The Football frenzy is on the rise, and Alexander Wang is following the line-up.

Soft stones, grays, khakis and neutrals are the basis of Wang's palette. The tomboyish charm of the collection gives a new outlook on spring trends. The broad leather patched shoulders of his sweaters balance the simplicity of his casual effortless looking khaki slacks.

The models thermal- socked legs offset the grande stature of the heaviness of the shoulders. The athletic cozy feel of Wang's fabrics robe the model's bodies.

Cherry red, patriotic stripes give a quaint contrast to denim bucket shorts and stone colored "sweat-slacks".

Towards the end of the collection, Wang's signature mysterious street-esque style shines through the  "sweatwear".

Black lace-up booties are first string (compared to the leathery- loafers), Wang's signature black and white cut-out dresses benched the neutral sweaters and early 1900's leather football shorts... you get the gist of things.

This sexy athlete arises from the ashes, yet Wang's silhouette stays the same. The almost padded and puffed shoulders stay in tact, don't worry. Wang's leggy theme keeps pressing forward, but instead of sweater dresses, he takes a leotard form. Beautiful vests, wispy thin black shawls, and  Letterman sweaters encrusted with Alexander's initial were the topping of his patent black bucket shorts.

A more slick Sophomore athlete.

Grade A, Wang, grade A.

One.

So, hello everyone.
Just a little intro for everyone (if anyone...), my name is Ali and I go to school in Indiana. I'm a native to the Lonestar state of Tejas. So basically, I'm just going to do reviews of the Pret-a-Porter collections of New York, Paris, Milan, and London Fashion Week. I'm going to say my opinion on the lines and give composition details.

I'm studying Art Appreciation at college now, and hopefully I can use some of my "elaborate" analyzing skills. I try way too hard... :)

Okay, so here goes nothing.

Here's me in Indiana... I definitely need to invest in a better umbrella, no? (hence the broken purple one)
