An On-going Obsession.

*Check out Fashionista.com for the vid!

"I have a fever! And the only cure... is more MIU MIU!"
Wasn't quite the quote from SNL's spinoff of Blue Oyster Cult, yet it felt appropriate in describing my adoration for the chicness of the line.

The fall ad campaign features a roster of model new-comers: Lindsey Wixson, Siri Tollerod, Ginta Lapina, Daphne Groeneveld

The vid explodes with flashing scenes of the quartet posing in what seems to be a futuristic photo booth. The grinning girls are shot throwing up peace signs and blowing kisses at the camera. It gives the campaign a youthful, vivacious vibe that transcends onto Miu Miu's fall line.

The featured mini-film showcases Miu Miu's signature block colored appeal, but something makes it stand out from other Fall collections. Swapping dull blacks and camels for eye- popping "Barney the Dinosaur" purple and mustard yellow shift dresses adorned with remnants of spring's floral theme. Metal and lucite flower charms freshly accessorize the garments, providing an airy touch to the upcoming dreariness of winter. The neck of the dresses are adorned with a thinly- tied, plush shoelace looking bow to make the designs stray away from "too cute"-ness.

The flashing images in the video continue with patent pumps (embellished with Pumpkin orange patent bows and a single thick metal pendant on the tongue of the shoe) stomping on puddles of water. I can say personally, that this gives me some hope for future dull designs for Fall and Winter.

Crayola Crayon colored smokey eyes and tightly bound pony tails beautify the campaign, but what about the brightly colored collection doesn't?
